440 is a General Purpose SMC Roving. This silanebased sizing is designed for compatibility with unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resins.
General Purpose SMC products include: electric enclosures, door skins,water tank
components and various parts in building, industrial and automotive markets. Although 440
can be used in SMC formulations containing low shrink and low profile additives, for Class-A grade we offer 456.
