WXDIC 1050 is a medium molecular weight solid epoxy resin, which is

manufactured from liquid epoxy resin and bisphenol A.

 

 

Introduction

WXDIC 1050 is a medium molecular weight solid epoxy resin. 1050 can be

applied for room temperature curing coatings and two-component baking

coatings by using polyamine or polyamide as curing agent. The solidified film

has excellent water, chemical resistance and adhesion, and is suitable for

application as anticorrosive coating for the lining of ships, bridges, coastal

buildings, pipelines, storage tanks, etc.

1050 can also be used as modifier in acrylate baking coatings and amino-alkyd

baking coatings. The addition of epoxy resin can enhance the adhesion,

corrosion resistance and other properties of the coating, so that it can be used

as a high-grade surface coating for automobiles and household appliances.

 

 

 

Packaging and Storage

WXDIC 1050 is supplied as flakes in 25 kg paper bags. It is recommended that
this solid epoxy resin be stored in a cool and dry place in its original closed
packaging in order to avoid sintering of the material. When the ambient
temperature reaches more than 20ºC, 1050 should be stored in cold storage. The product should not be stored exposed to fire or direct sunlight. Under
these conditions the self life should be a minimum of 12 months from date of manufacture.
